We pierced the heart of the earth out of greed, and now it bleeds. Life cannot be planted in dead soil. The forest burns because we stopped listening to it, and the sea swallows its shores because we poisoned it with carelessness. The sky is covered in ash because we stopped looking up. Don't say you didn't know. Nature doesn't destroy, it gives back. Every action has an echo. Every cut has a consequence. Nature doesn't belong to us, quite the opposite. And even so, there's still time to plant, to ask for forgiveness, to give back to the earth what we took from it. What we don't care for today won't grow tomorrow. If we continue to kill the seed, there will be no one left to harvest. Before the last green becomes a memory. Before the ground rejects our footprint. Before its cry becomes ours too, and there's no one left to answer. I can't change the world, but I can change my little worlds. And perhaps in this way, lightly and "tiny," we can transform what we have created here. If you're reading this, choose to change your little worlds, choose to speak up, because yes, it's worth it. Because yes, you play a role in any cause you champion. Don't silence your voice.
