Terms of Use

1. What Siila is

Siila is a wellbeing platform, on siila.org and in the Siila apps for iOS and Android, that connects seekers and professionals in yoga, meditation and holistic practices. You can discover free content, join events, follow verified teachers, take part in communities, or grow your professional practice.

2. Who can use it

You must be 13 or older to use Siila. To book a paid event you must be 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission. Professionals must be 18 or older.
Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

3. How Siila works

• Seekers explore content, join communities and book events.
• Professionals create profiles, share content and publish events.

Siila provides the space and the tools. When you book an event, your agreement for that event is with the Professional. Siila does not employ or control teachers.

4. Payments and refunds

• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Siila never stores card numbers.
• Payments are held by Stripe and released to the Professional only after the event takes place.
• Professionals choose a 5% service fee per paid booking or a €35/month subscription (plus VAT), free for the first 3 months. Seekers pay no Siila fee.
• For online events, we email you the link to join.
• You can cancel a paid booking for a full refund up to 24 hours before the event starts, from Invoices in your account. Within 24 hours, the Professional's own cancellation policy applies.
• If a Professional cancels, everyone who paid is refunded in full automatically.
• Nothing is sold inside the apps. Bookings open in your browser, on Siila's website or the teacher's own page.

5. Community rules and safety

Be kind and respectful. Do not post anything harmful, illegal or misleading. You can report any profile, post, comment or message, and choose who can message you. Our team reviews reports, usually within 48 hours, may remove content or suspend accounts, and tells you why when it acts on your content.

6. Reviews

Anyone with an account can comment. Star ratings come only from people who attended an event booked through Siila: we email them after the event. Ratings and comments must be honest and respectful. We only remove a review if it breaks these Terms.

7. Health disclaimer

Siila supports wellbeing but is not a medical or therapy provider. Practices should complement, not replace, professional healthcare. Talk to a doctor if you have any concern before joining a class or event.

8. Your content and privacy

You own what you share and allow Siila to show it on the platform. Your data is handled under our Privacy Policy.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time: in the app, You tab > menu > Delete account, or by writing to hello@siila.org.

10. If something goes wrong

We do our best to keep Siila safe and available, but we cannot promise perfect uptime. Contact hello@siila.org first. You can also use the Livro de Reclamações or a consumer arbitration centre. Portuguese law applies.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is important, we tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
